Councillor Murray Blight

On October 23, 2010, I was acclaimed to be your representative at City Council and am proud to serve as the Acting Mayor in the upcoming year (2012). My continued obligation and commitment to the City of Brandon and my constituents will assist us in achieving our goals and objectives.

I am encouraged with various discussions and activities taking place:

• Cultural Development and Diversity Strategy
• Massey Harris Integrated Housing Complex Project

In 2002, I implemented a newsletter called "Bits & Pieces" and over the years the newsletter has been personally forwarded to over 800 household email address in our ward and community. The newsletter provides up-to-date information and opinions involving the City of Brandon.
