Brandon Downtown Secondary Plan Update The City of Brandon has initiated an update to the Downtown Plan with the engagement of the Brandon Downtown Development Corporation, businesses, residents and the community at large to explore new ideas and opportunities to achieve the downtown vision. Based on the feedback from the public and stakeholders, a Downtown Brandon Secondary Plan (the Downtown Plan) has been drafted. The following appendices (Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix C, Appendix D and Appendix E) provide background information but are not part of the Downtown Plan. The project will proceed to City Council for 1st Reading on May 6, 2019, and Public Hearing in June (date to be determined). A public input survey was made available to allow residents and stakeholders to provide comments and feedback on the five discussion topics used during the public consultation event on April 24, 2018. The survey was available until May 11, 2018. Feedback collected through the survey will help City of Brandon and Brandon Downtown Development Corporation staff to create the new downtown secondary plan implementation schedule and update the policies.
