For the last 24 hours:

Robberies:

On Saturday morning a resident in the 800 block Rosser Avenue heard a knock at his door and, when he opened it, two suspects forced their way in while brandishing weapons.  The victim retreated into his suite and sat under threat of violence.  The two suspects, one male and one female, subsequently stole some property and fled the scene.  The male was located by police a short time later, and he was wearing an article of clothing stolen from the victim and was found to be in possession of other property.  The 20 year-old accused was arrested for the robbery and appeared before the court Saturday afternoon, at which time he was remanded into custody.  The female suspect has not been located.

At about 11:20 PM Saturday night, a report of a robbery that had occurred in the 700 block Lorne Avenue was received.  Three male suspects robbed three adult males.  One of the suspects had brandished a homemade conducted electrical weapon (CEW) and demanded the victims give up their money, which they refused.   The suspect then sparked the CEW while threatening the victims, who were not injured.  Two of the suspects were identified and a 16 year-old male was arrested for armed robbery, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.  He will appear before the court today.  The other two suspects are being sought and the incident is still under investigation.  The weapon was recovered during the investigation.

Break, Enter, and Theft:

A residence in the 300 block 23rd Street was entered sometime between Thursday and Saturday morning.  It is believed that a key, which had been previously stolen, was used to access the premise.  Two TV’s were stolen.  The matter is still under investigation.

Arrest Warrants Executed:

A 27 year-old female was arrested at her Cornell Bay residence on Saturday night on the strength of warrant for arrest for two counts of failing to attend court and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.  She was held overnight and will appear before the court today.

A 19 year-old female was located near 1st Street and Princess Avenue at around 4:30 this morning.  A records query revealed that she was the subject of an arrest warrant for failing to attend court, two counts of failing to comply with probation order, break and enter, theft under $5000, and fraudulently obtaining transportation.  As the warrant was endorsed, she was released from custody and is to appear in court on December 16th.

Breach of Court Orders:

A 30 year-old male was arrested at 12:20 AM, in the 1100 block of Victoria Avenue, after it was learned he is bound by an undertaking, with a daily curfew of 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM included as a condition.  He was processed and released from custody to appear in court on December 16th
