Attempt Break and Enter

 On November 6th, 2021 a report of an attempt Break and Enter was received from a resident in the 700 block of 11th Street.  The unknown subject pried at the door and window.  Entry was not gained and nothing was stolen.  Still under investigation. 

On this same date a second report was received of a Break and Enter to a shed in the 700 block of 11th Street. An unknown subject cut the lock off of the shed and stole an assortment of tools.  Still under investigation. 

Warrants Executed

 On November 6th 2021 shortly after 8:30 P.M. police stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of College Avenue for a Highway Traffic Act investigation.  During the stop police conducted a CPIC search on the driver and passenger.  Both were found to be out past their curfews and have warrants for their arrest.  A 31 year old male and 21 year female were released on Appearance Notice’s to appear in court on January 10th 2022. 

Warrant Executed

 On November 6th, 2021 police received a report of a male causing a disturbance in the 1000 block of Middleton Avenue.  The male was jumping on vehicles parked in a parking lot and running in and out of traffic, nearly getting hit by a vehicle.  The subject was located, taken into custody and searched on CPIC.  The 33 year old male from Brandon was found to be wanted on outstanding charges for Fail to Attend Court/Fingerprints, Theft Under 5,000 and Breach of Probation.  He was released on an Appearance Notice to appear in court on January 8th, 2022.

Breach of Undertaking

 On November 6th, 2021 police were conducting a Road Watch in the 200 block of 18th street.  The driver of the vehicle was checked on CPIC and found to be on an Undertaking with conditions not to have any contact or communication with the passenger who was with him.  A 44 year male from Brandon was arrested and released on an Appearance Notice to attend court on December 30th, 2021. 

 Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

On November 6th, 2021 police received a report of a package that was delivered to a residence in the 1500 block of Stickney Avenue had been stolen.  The complainant located the package for sale on a local buy and sell platform.  Police officers met with the seller and were able to confirm the item being sold was the item that was reported stolen.  A 38 year old male from Brandon was arrested and released on an Undertaking to appear in court on January 10th, 2022.
