Breach of Peace

On April 30, 2020, police responded to a report of a male sitting in a children’s play structure in a yard in the 300 block of 16th street at approximately 7:30 am. Police located the 26-year-old male and found he was under the influence of illicit drugs. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Break and Enter to Business

On April 30, 2020, police received a report of a Break and Enter to a business in the 200 block of Wapiti Way. Suspect are believed to have entered storage areas between 7:00 pm on April 29, and 7:45 am on April 30, 2020. It is unknown if anything was stolen. Anyone with information regarding this Break and Enter is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.

 

Arrest Warrants

On April 30, 2020, police located a 32-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court. He was arrested and will appear in court at a later date.

 

Arrest Warrant

On April 30, 2020, police conducted a traffic stop on Middleton Ave shortly before 2:00 pm. A 29-year-old male passenger was found to be wanted on outstanding charges of Break and Enter with intent and Mischief Under $5000. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

 

Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth

On May 1, 2020, police stopped an individual riding a bicycle in the 500 block of 6th street at approximately 1:30 am. The male was found to be in possession of a homemade weapon consisting of a metal shaft, a small amount of meth and cash. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth and Possess Weapon.

 

Breach of Peace

On April 30, 2020, police responded to a disturbance at a residence. A 30-year-old male there had been consuming meth and alcohol, and was creating a mess. He was no longer welcome in the residence due to his behavior. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent his behavior from causing further issues.

 

Breach of Peace

On April 30, 2020, police responded to a report of a female screaming in an apartment building and water coming through the ceiling of other areas in the building. Police found that a 42-year-old female was responsible, as she had been consuming both meth and alcohol. She had pulled apart some of the plumbing in her apartment to search for another individual whom she believed was in the drain. To prevent any further issues from happening she was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service.
