Breach of Peace
On the morning of 2023-03-26, police responded to the 700 block of 8th Street for a report of an intoxicated female that was attempting self-harm. A 22-year-old female was taken into custody and lodged at BPS until sober. Mental Health Services will be provided at the time of release.
Theft Under
On the morning of 2023-03-26, police received a report of a theft from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue. The female suspect was located in the area and determined to have stolen merchandise with a value of approximately $70. A 51-year-old female was arrested and released with conditions to appear in court 2023-05-29 for the charge of Theft Under $5000.
Disobey Court Order
On 2023-03-10, police received a report from a female regarding a male that had contacted her in contravention to a no contact order. On 2023-03-26, police located, arrested, and released the 68-year-old male with conditions to appear in court 2023-05-20 for the charge of Disobey Court Order.
Assault Cause Bodily Harm
On the evening of 2023-03-26, police received a report that two female youths had been assaulted by two other female youths. Police investigation resulted in locating the two suspects walking in the 200 block of 18th Street. A pedestrian stop was attempted and the two suspects fled on foot. Police arrested the 15 and 13-year-old suspects in the area and found them to be intoxicated by alcohol. The co-accused were subsequently released to a family member with conditions to appear in court 2023-04-25 for the charges of Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Assault, Resist Arrest, and Consume Liquor as a Minor.
Warrant
On the morning of 2023-03-27, police were called to a building in the 300 block of 10th Street for an unwanted male. A check of police records revealed a warrant of arrest for the 60-year-old. The accused was lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-03-27.
On the morning of 2023-03-27, a 47-year-old male attended to BPS to turn himself in on a warrant. The accused was lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-03-27.
