Possession of Methamphetamine:

On March 19, 2022, at 12:33 pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Braecrest Drive.  A 31 year old male within the vehicle was found to be in possession of a small quantity of a substance believed to be methamphetamine as well as a hunting knife.  The male initially provided a false name to police, however, his true identity was quickly discovered and it was learned that he was also bound by a Court Order with conditions not to possess any weapons.  The male was arrested for Public Mischief, Breach of Court Order, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Possession of Methamphetamine.  The male was conveyed and detained at the Brandon Police Service to appear before a Justice regarding the matter.

Arrest Warrant: 

On March 19, 2022 at 2:56 pm, a 39 year old male attended to the Brandon Police Service to turn himself in regarding an outstanding Warrant of Arrest.  The noted warrant was executed and the male was released by way of Appearance Notice with a future court date.

Arrest Warrant:

On March 19, 2022, at 7:52 pm, police attended to an apartment located in the Victoria Woods Estates Complex in an attempt to locate a male wanted on several Warrants of Arrest.  Police located and arrested the 23 year old male without incident.  The male was conveyed and detained at the Brandon Police Service to appear before a Justice.

Break and Enter:

On March 19, 2022, at 8:46 pm, police were dispatched to a break and enter to a residence located within the 1200 block of Rosser Avenue.  Police located a 28 year old female and a 40 year old male within a second floor bathroom who had unlawfully entered the residence.  The duo were arrested for break and enter.  The female was found to have a Warrant for her Arrest.  The duo were conveyed to the Brandon Police Service where they were later released from custody by way of Undertaking with future court dates. 

Search Warrant Executed:

On March 19, 2022, at approximately 9:36 pm, members of the Crime Division and Patrol Section executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Search Warrant at a residence located in the 200 block of 1st Street.  A 28 year old male and a 30 year old female located within the residence were arrested and taken into custody.  A search of the residence yielded numerous weapons, Canadian currency and substances believed to cocaine.  The male and female are facing several criminal charges including, Proceeds of Crime, Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine.  The female was later released from custody by way of Undertaking with a future court date.  The male was held in custody at the Brandon Police Service to appear before a Justice regarding the matter.

Breach of Court Order:

On March 19, 2022, at 10:58 pm, police attended a disturbance in the 700 block of 6th Street.  At the time two females were found to have been engaged in a verbal disagreement.  A 22 year old male within the residence, not involved in the dispute, pre-occupied playing video games, was found to be bound by conditions not to have any contact or communication with one of the females.  It was game over.  The male was arrested and conveyed to the Brandon Police Service where he was later released from custody via Release Order.

Arrest Warrants:

On March 19, 2022, at 1059 pm, police attended to a residence in the 1100 block of 20th Street to conduct a curfew check.  At the time police located a 24 year old female and a 38 year old male within the residence.  The male and female were found to have several Warrants for their Arrest.  The duo were arrested on the strength of the warrants, conveyed and detained at the Brandon Police Service.  The female was later released by way of Appearance Notice.  The male was held in custody to appear before a Justice regarding the matter.

Arrest Warrant:

On March 20, 2022, at 12:55 am, police were dispatched to the 1300 block of 6th Street regarding a male acting strange on the street.  Police located a 39 year old male who was found to have a Warrant for his Arrest.  The male was conveyed and detained at the Brandon Police Service where he was later released by way of Appearance Notice with a future court date.

Arrest Warrants/Resist Arrest:

On March 20, 2022, at 5:28 am, police observed a male in the area of 920 Victoria Avenue, who police knew had several outstanding Warrants for his Arrest.  Upon arresting the male, he proceeded to resist being taken into custody.  The male was subdued and hand-cuffed.  A subsequent search of the male led to the discovery of a sharpened tire iron and knife tucked into the waistband of his pants.   The male will now face additional charges of Resist Arrest and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.  The male was conveyed and detained at the Brandon Police Service to appear before a Justice regarding the matter.
