Break and Enter:

On March 11, 2022, at 6:51 am, Police were called to an address in the 100 block of 15th Street regarding a disturbance.  At that time, police located a 28 year old male who had forcibly entered the building and an unoccupied apartment.  The male was located and arrested for break and enter.  The male was later released by way of Undertaking with conditions and a future court date.

Assault:

On February 21, 2022, Police received an assault complaint from a City of Brandon Transit Driver.  The Transit Driver reported being struck by male after a transit fare dispute. The Transit Driver was not injured in the altercation.  On March 11, 2022, at 10:18 am, the male responsible for the assault/altercation was located and arrested in the 700 block of 12th Street.  The 46 year old male was later released by way of Undertaking with conditions and a future court date. 

Arrest Warrant:

On March 11, 2022, at 5:18 pm, Police conducted a traffic stop on Wankling Blvd.  A 47 year old male occupant in the vehicle was found to have a warrant for his arrest for failing to comply with his probation.  The male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, conveyed and detained at the Brandon Police Service.  The male will appear before a Justice regarding the matter.

Breach of Peace:

On March 12, 2022, at 4:22 am, Police attended a residence in the 200 block of Franklin Street regarding an intoxicated 21 year old female.  The female was arrested, conveyed and detained at the Brandon Police Service, to be released when sober.
