Warrant

On the morning of 2023-06-04, police conducted a pedestrian check with an adult male in the 700 block of 1st Street.  A check of police records revealed an outstanding warrant of arrest.  A 34-year-old male was lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-06-05.

Warrant – Parole Revocation

On the afternoon of 2023-06-04, police attended to a business in the 1800 block of Queens Avenue in an attempt to locate a male with an outstanding Canada wide warrant.  The subject was located and arrested without incident.  A 39-year-old male has been held in custody for a review of his sentencing status by Parole.

Possess of a Weapon Contrary to Prohibition Order x 4, Careless storage of a firearm, Possession of a Restricted firearm x 2, Tampering with serial number, Possession of weapon, and Failure to Comply with Release Order

On the afternoon of 2023-06-04, police attended to an address on Westaway Bay in an attempt to locate a male with an outstanding warrant.  Police were granted entry to the home by a resident, whereby a male and female were located in the basement of the home.  At the initial point of interaction, police discovered a 22 calibre sawed off rifle and ammunition.  A search warrant of the residence was initiated which resulted in the recovery of an additional 30.06 rifle, a 22 calibre rifle and a 22 calibre home made zip gun.  The 28-year-old male is currently on bail and is not to possess firearms due to an incident that occurred on Cornwallis Crescent in the fall of 2022.  The male is to appear court 2023-06-05 for his warrant in addition and numerous new weapons charges. The 20-year-old female has been released with conditions to appear in court 2023-07-31 for Possession of firearm x 2, Possession of Restricted Firearm x2, Careless storage of firearm, and Tamper with Serial Number.

Warrant

On the afternoon of 2023-06-04, police conducted a pedestrian check with a female in the 200 block of 9th Street.  A check of police records revealed an outstanding warrant of arrest.  A 37-year-old female was released with conditions to appear in court 2023-07-31.

Breach of Peace

On the evening of 2023-06-04, police responded to the 0 hundred block of 10th Street for a report of an intoxicated female that was causing a disturbance.  To prevent continued disturbances to the public, a 23-year-old female was lodged at BPS and will be released when sober.

Warrant

On the evening of 2023-06-04, police responded to 1700 block of Victoria Avenue E after receiving a report of a suspicious female.  A check of police records revealed an outstanding warrant held by WPS.  The 35-year-old female was released with conditions to appear in court 2023-07-25.

Failure to Comply Release Order

On the evening of 2023-06-04, police responded to a residence in the 0 hundred block of 10th Street as a youth was causing a disturbance.  The 17-year-old female was found to have breached a condition of her release order and has been held for court 2023-06-05.

Failure to Comply Release Order X2

On 2023-06-05, police conducted a pedestrian check with a male in the 600 block of 9th Street.  A check of police records revealed the subject to be in breach of a court ordered curfew.  A search incident to arrest resulted in locating a knife which the 29-year-old male is also on court ordered conditions not to possess.  The male has been lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-06-05.

Failure to Comply Release Order

On 2023-06-05, police conducted a pedestrian check with an intoxicated female in the 500 block of Mcdiarmid Drive.  A check of police records revealed the 16-year-old female to be bound by a court ordered curfew.  The youth has been lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-06-05.
