While investigating a fraud use of credit card complaint that occurred on July 17th, a review of video surveillance showed a male in the convenience store.  The investigating member recognized the male and knew that he was bound by a Release Order, which included a curfew that the male was not abiding by.  The officer attended to the suspect’s residence, located him, and arrested him failing to comply with the Release Order.  The 39 year-old accused will appear before the court this morning.

A 16 year-old male was located in the 200 block 8th Street this morning at around 2:40 AM.  He had been reported as a run-away from a group home earlier in the night, and was found to be breaching a Probation Order by not complying with the included curfew condition.  He was arrested for that offence, and later released to appear in court on October 11th.  He was turned over to staff from the group home, who reported a short time later that the youth had fled from them again.

Assault:

A 28 year-old male was arrested and later released on appropriate Police imposed conditions for assault, after slapping a male on the head.  The victim, an employee at a restaurant located in the 1900 block Richmond Avenue, had asked the accused to leave the property as he was bothering customers.  The accused is to appear in court on September 29th.
