IPDA

On April 29, 2020, police responded to a report of a female in the 1300 block of 18th street N who was highly intoxicated and putting herself at risk by wondering into traffic shortly before 8:00 am. Police located a 46-year-old female there who was not able to care for herself while intoxicated, and there was no one available to look after her. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On April 29, 2020, police responded to a report of a male who was behaving strangely in the 600 block of Rosser Ave, as he was trying to climb through windows. The 19-year-old male was found to be under the influence of illicit drugs, and was to abide by conditions to abstain. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court on a later date on a charge of Fail to comply with Release Order.

 

Arrest Warrant

On April 29, 2020, police located a 42-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation. Upon his arrest, he was found to be in possession of a small amount of cocaine. He will appear in court on a later date on charges for Possession of Cocaine, and Fail to Comply with Probation.

 

Arrest Warrant

On April 29, 2020, police located a 22-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation. She will appear in court on a later date.

 

Break and Enter to Business

On April 29, 2020, police received a report of a Break and Enter to a business in the 200 block of Wapiti Way. Suspects were believed to have entered the business between 1200 hours and 1400 hours by prying open an office door. Once inside, the suspects rummaged through the property and stole sets of keys. Anyone with information regarding this Break and Enter is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.

 

IPDA

On April 29, 2020, police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 100 block of 4th street shortly after 1600 hours. An 26-year-old male was there, with no one able to care for him in his intoxicated state. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

House Fire

On April 29, 2020 at approximately 10:22 pm, police attended to a residential fire in the 400 block of 12 street to assist BFES. Residences on either side were evacuated, and there were no reports of any injuries. The fire is not suspicious in nature, and is believed to be cause by an electrical malfunction.
