DOMESTIC ASSAULT

On October 30, 2021 at approx. 11:30 am police received a report of a domestic assault in the 3700 blk Victoria Ave. Police attended and talked to the victim. She disclosed that her partner had hit her. Her partner, a 37 year old male from Brandon, was located in their residence. He was arrested and later released on an undertaking to appear in court on December 30, 2021 on charges of Assault.

MISCHIEF

On October 31, 2021 at approx. 4:15 am, police received a report of an intoxicated female in the 600 blk Douglas St. She had just smashed a window using a hammer. Police attended and located a 19 year old female in the street, still in possession of the hammer. She was intoxicated. She was arrested and lodged until sober. She was later released on an undertaking to appear in court on Dec 23, 2021 on charges of Mischief Under $5000

OTHER ARRESTS

On October 30, 2021 at approx. 7:16 am, police received a report of 2 subjects in a garage in the 800 blk 16th St. They had been going back and forth from back lane to garage. Police attended and located the two suspects. They were both intoxicated inside the vacant garage. There was no damage to garage. One was a 36 year old male from Leaf Rapids, and the other was a 34 year old male with no fixed address. They were arrested, cleared medically and lodged to be released when sober.

On October 30, 2021 at approx. 5:45 pm, police received a report of two different people in the same garage on 16th St. Police attended and located two more males in the garage. One was a 25 year old male and the other was a 37 year old male. Both subjects had no fixed address. They were arrested, cleared medically and lodged to be released later.

On October 30, 2021 at approx. 5:00 pm MTCC requested police assistance with a 23 year old female who had been aggressive to EMS then fled. Police located the female in the 1000 blk Rosser Ave. She was intoxicated. She was arrested, cleared medically and lodged until sober.

On October 30, 2021 at approx. 8:15 pm 911 received a call requesting police and then the caller hung up. Police were able to determine the call came from a home in the 300 blk 15th St. Police attended and located a 23 year old male and a female engaged in a verbal dispute. The male was belligerent and uncooperative and was therefore removed to prevent an escalation. He was arrested, cleared medically and lodged to be released later.

On October 31, 2021 at approx. 1:30 am, police were called to the area of Noonan Dr. for an intoxicated female. Police attended and located an 18 year old female. She admitted to taking alcohol and some other drugs. She was unwilling to cooperate with EMS when given the opportunity.  She was arrested, cleared medically and lodged until sober.

On October 31, 2021 at approx. 2:00 am, police were called to the area of the 2200 block of Pacific Ave for a male stumbling and falling into the ditch. Police attended and located an 18 year old male, who was highly intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was arrested, cleared medically and lodged until sober.
