 Arrest Warrants

On September 28, 2021, at approx. 2000 hrs. Police located a male in the 600 block of Douglas Street who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend for Ident.  Search incident to arrest revealed he was in possession of a can of bear spray contrary to his probation conditions.  Also, the bicycle he was riding was found to be stolen.   In addition to the outstanding warrant the 37-year-old male was charged with Possession of Prohibited Weapon, Breach of Probation, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. He was released to appear in court on November 29, 2021.

On September 28, 2021 at approx. 2200 hrs. a 40-year-old male turned himself in on an outstanding warrant for Breach of Conditional Sentence Order.  The male was arrest and lodged to attend court this morning.

On September 28, 2021 at 2200 hrs. Police located and arrested a female who was found to be wanted for Fail to Attend Ident.  The 26-year-old female was arrested and released to appear in court on November 4, 2021.

Breach of Peace

On September 28, 2021, at 2149 hrs. Police responded to a report of a fight in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue.  An 18-year-old female was found to be under the influence of alcohol and uncooperative.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent the continuation of her behaviour.

On September 29, 2021 at 0020 hrs. Police responded to a report of an intoxicated male causing problems in the 3500 block of Willowdale Crescent.  The intoxicated 44-year-old was located, arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober to prevent the continuation of his behavior.

Arson to a Vehicle

On September 29, 2021 at 0325 hrs. Police responded to the 800 block of Russell Street for a report of a vehicle on fire.  A suspect had been observed lighting the fire then fled the area.  Search of the area was conducted, but the suspect was unable to be located.  Anyone with information regarding this arson is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact
