Break and Enter

 On Thursday, October 28th, at approximately 0220 hrs, unknown persons broke into a shed at a residence in the 500 blk of 4th Street. Unknown at this time if anything is missing.  Incident still under investigation.

 

Assault

 On Thursday, October 28th, a female youth was charged for assaulting another female youth while at a school volleyball game on Wednesday, October 27th. The victim was not seriously injured. The female youth was located by police and was arrested without incident and will appear in Court on Tuesday December 7 th to answer to the charge.

 

Breach of Release Order

 On Thursday, October 28th, at approximately 1429 hrs, hrs, police were called to a business in the 1500 blk of 18th Street on a complaint of a male causing problems.  Police located a 32 yr old Brandon male in the area He was found to be in breach of a Release Order which had conditions not to possess a knife or weapons and not to consume alcohol or illegal drugs. The male appeared to be high.  Search incident to arrest led police to locate a machete in his possession. The male was arrested without further incident and will appear in Court on Friday October 29 th to answer to the charge.

 

 Sexual Assault (prior)

 Police originally received a complaint from a female on Monday, March 29th of a sexual assault that occurred on Saturday March 27th. A police investigation was conducted and the matter sent to the Crown Attorney’s office for opinion.  Charges were authorized based on the evidence provided.  A 21 year old Brandon male attended Brandon Police Service and was arrested and charged and release on an Undertaking to appear in court on Monday December 20th 2021.

 

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking /Take Motor Vehicle without Owners Consent

On Thursday October 28th, Police attended the area of 000 blk of Wankling Blvd after stopping a vehicle which was first reported stolen by the The Pas RCMP. A 23 year old Brandon female was arrested for Take Motor Vehicle without Owners Consent and also had a Warrant for her arrest for Breach of a Conditional Sentence Order. The female will appear in Court in the am.  A 52 yr old Brandon male who was located near the vehicle was arrested after police located approximately 8.8 grams of meth in his possession. The male will appear in court on Thursday, 6th January 2022.  A search of the recovered vehicle by Police Service Dog discovered approximately 10 grams of Meth.  A 30 year old female from Maruis, MB and a 47year old female from Brandon who were the occupants of the vehicle were charged with the Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.  Both were released on Undertakings and will appear in Court on Monday November 1st to answer to the charge.

 

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking / Possession of a Prohibited Weapon

 On Friday October 29th, at approximately 0437 hrs,  police stopped a vehicle in the 2100 Blook of Currie Blvd, police observed a set of brass knuckles in the drivers door pocket when the 22 year old female driver from Sherwood Park AB, exited the vehicle. Police located approx. 6 grams of Meth when conducting search incident to arrest  She was released on an Appearance Notice for Court on Thursday, January 6th, 2022.

IPDA and Breach of The Peace

 

Over the last 24 hrs there was one male lodged for IPDA and one female and two males lodged for Breach of the Peace.
