Break and Enter – False Fire Alarm

On March 29, 2022, police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual who was kicked out of an apartment in the 1000 block of Rosser Ave by the tenants, for his disruptive behavior. The male returned to the building, forced his way inside by breaking a window in a door, and falsely activated the fire alarm shortly before 2:00 am. 

Police arrested the 18-year-old male and lodged him at Brandon Police Service.  He will be released once sober to appear in court on May 24, 2022 on charges of Break and Enter and Commit False Alarm of Fire.

 

Theft Under $5000

On March 29, 2022, shortly after 3:00 am, police responded to a report of an unwanted male at a residence trying to get inside.  After the homeowners refused him entry, and the 21-year-old male stole a camera from the front of the home and left. 

The male suspect then went to a nearby business and requested that the employees contact police.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service.  He will be released today to appear in court on May 30, 2022 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Arrest Warrants

On March 28, 2022, a 40-year-old male attended to Brandon Police Service, as he was aware he was wanted on outstanding charges.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on a charge of Break and Enter.

On March 29, 2022, police located and arrested a 22-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On March 29, 2022, shortly after 2:00 am, police observed two pedestrians in the area of the 900 block of Victoria Ave.  They were aware that the 35-year-old male was to abide by conditions not to communicate with the other person.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on a charge for Fail to Comply with Release Order.

On March 2, 2022, police received a report of a 33-year-old male who was repeatedly contacting an individual with whom he was to have no contact.  The male was not located and arrested until March 28, 2022.  He was released to appear in court on May 16, 2022 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Release Order.

On March 29, 2022, shortly before 3:00 am, police observed a 17-year-old male pedestrian in the 400 block of 7th street.  The male was to abide by a court ordered curfew.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court this morning on a charge of Fail to Comply with Release Order.
