Stolen Vehicle Recovered

On July 28, 2021, at noon, police stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of 7th street that was stolen out of Thunder Bay Ontario.  The 40-year-old male driver from Westman was arrested.  He was found to be in breach of several release conditions. 

He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Possess Property Obtained by Crime, Fail to Comply with Release Order X2, and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

 

Break and Enter Business

On July 28, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a storage building at a business in the 100 block of 17th street N.  Suspects entered the building by forcing the lock during the previous two weeks.  Stolen were a set of winter tires.  Anyone with information regarding this B&E is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact.

 

IPDA

On July 28, 2021, shortly before 9:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male in the 900 block of Rosser Ave.  The 40-year-old male was in no condition to care for himself and had nobody else to look after him.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On July 29, 2021, shortly after midnight, police responded to a report of a female screaming in the 600 block of McTavish Ave.  Police located the 24-year-old female who was alone and had nowhere to go.  She was in no condition to care for herself.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Breach of Peace

On July 28, 2021 shortly before 10:00 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence.  Police located an intoxicated 28-year-old male who was the cause of the issues.  To prevent his behavior from escalating further, he was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On July 29, 2021, at approximately 2:30 am, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence.  Family members were unable to prevent an intoxicated 25-year-old male’s behavior from escalating.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Arrest Warrant

On July 28, 2021, police located and arrested a 42-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Theft Under $5000 and Fail to Attend Court.  He was later released to appear in court on October 21, 2021.

On July 28, 2021, police located and arrested a 47-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Theft Under $5000, Fail to comply with Undertaking and Fail to Attend Court.  She was later released to appear in court on October 21, 2021.
