Assault
A 40 year old man from Sioux Valley was arrested on Saturday morning and charged with Assault and Assault by Choking. Officers responded to a disturbance on Cornell Bay. A woman reported that her boyfriend struck her and held her down with his hands around her neck during an argument. The accused was arrested at the scene and will appear in court in October.
Break and Enters
A shed in the 3300 block of Victoria Ave was broken into overnight from Friday August 27th to Saturday August 28th. A blue Trek bicycle was stolen.
A shed in the 700 block of 21st St was broken into between 10:00 pm on Friday August 27th and 9:00 am on Saturday August 28th. Nothing was stolen from the shed but an unlocked bicycle was taken from the yard. A vehicle parked at the residence was also entered and an air compressor and staple gun was stolen.
Other Arrests
A 22 year old woman was arrested on an endorsed warrant and released for court in November
Two people were lodged for Breach of Peace.
