Break and Enter with Intent – Suspect Arrested

On September 11, 2021, police responded to a report of a Break and Enter to a secure Residential Complex in the 400 block of 9th street, which occurred the day prior.  The suspect used an unauthorized access code to enter the building before stealing a bicycle from a secure area.

Security images from the complex were able to aid in identifying the suspect.

On September 26, 2021, police located and arrested the 30-year-old suspect who was in possession of the stolen bicycle.  He was later released to appear in court on November 1, 2021 on charges of Break and Enter with Intent, Theft Under $5000, and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

Fail to Comply with Undertaking

On September 26, 2021, police responded to a report of a male passed out on residential property in some bushes in the 100 block of 15th street at approximately 4:30 pm.  Police located the 47-year-old male and learned he was to abstain from consuming alcohol.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to be released when sober to appear in court on November 22, 2021.

 

Arrest Warrant

On September 26, 2021, police located and arrested a 29-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Allegation of Non-Compliance.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service.

 

Traffic Stop results in Arrests

On September 26, 2021 at 10:30 pm, police conducted a traffic stop at 9th street and Princess Ave, as the vehicle being driven had inactive plates.  One of the occupants, a 28-year-old female, was to abide by a curfew at a rural address.  She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court this morning on a charge of Allegation of Non Compliance.

A second subject, a 34-year-old male was also to abide by a curfew condition at a rural address.  He too was arrested and lodged to appear in court this morning on a charge of Fail to Comply with Release Order.

The third passenger, a 36-year-old male, was found in possession of knives, contrary to his Probation Order.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court this morning on a charge of Fail to Comply with Probation.

 

Breach of Peace

On September 26, 2021, police responded to a report of a female harassing patrons of a business in the area of 18th street and Queens shortly before 11:00 pm.  Police located the 42-year-old female who was intoxicated and lodged her at Brandon Police Service to prevent her actions from escalating.

 

Breach of Peace

On September 26, 2021, throughout the evening, police responded to several reports of the same individual causing problems with friends and family members.   In one incident, the male was no longer welcome at a family residence due to his behavior, and he assaulted another family member who came to pick him up.  In a separate incident, the male attended to a friend’s residence where he was also unwelcome and his behavior was escalating.  The male left both situations before police arrived. 

Police located the male while they were conducting a traffic stop in the 900 block of Princess Ave shortly before 11:00 pm. The traffic stop was unrelated to the male.  While on the stop, the 18-year-old male suspect approached the police cruiser and attempted to get in it.  He was found to be under the influence of illicit drugs and arrested to prevent his behavior from continuing.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Breach of Peace

On September 26, 2021 at 11:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated 33-year-old female causing problems in the 800 block of Pacific Ave.  Her behavior was escalating and she would not leave the area.  Police arrested her and lodged her at Brandon Police Service to prevent her behavior from continuing.
