Mischief to Property

Shortly after 6 AM Saturday, officers were called to the 1500 block of Stickney Ave for a disturbance.  A 19 year old male had gotten into an argument and picked up a scooter and threw it through a window of a residence there.  The male was arrested for mischief to property.  He was held at the Brandon Police Service until sober and has since been released with a court date of November 22.

 

Domestic Assault

At approx. 7 PM Saturday, police were called to the 3500 block of Willowdale Cres for a disturbance.  Upon arrival, they learned that a 22-year-old male had assaulted his girlfriend and was damaging items in the apartment.  The male was arrested for domestic assault.  He will be released once sober, with a court date of December 20.

 

Breach of Release Orders

At approx. 10:20 PM Saturday, officers attended to an address in the 500 block of 2nd St on the belief that there were people at that address not complying with their release conditions.  Officers did locate two residents, a 22-year-old male and a 17-year-old female.  Both of these individuals have been previously arrested, and released on the condition they not communicate with each other. They were both charged with failing to comply with a Release order and have since been released with court dates of December 20 and December 14 respectively.

 

Breach of Release Order

At approx. 3:25 AM this morning, officers attended to the 300 block of 6th St, for a male banging on doors in the area.  The subject of the complaint was located and once identified it was determined that he is to be following a daily curfew, which he was not.  The 16-year-old Brandon male was arrested for failing to comply with his release order and will appear in court later this morning.

 

Other Arrests

  • Two males and one female were arrested in separate incidents for breach of the peace.  They were held at the Brandon Police Service until sober.
