Possession of Prohibited Weapon
On May 25, 2021, police responded to a report of unauthorized individuals in an apartment shortly before 8:00 am. Investigation led police to discover one of the suspects was in possession of a can of bear mace. The 19-year-old male was arrested and later released to appear in court on August 26, 2021 on a charge of Possession of Prohibited Weapon.
Arrest Warrants
On May 25, 2021, a 32-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant attended Brandon Police Service to turn himself in. The male appeared in court that day and was remanded in custody for Fail to Comply with Conditional Sentence Order.
On May 25, 2021, police located a 29-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges. The male appeared in court that day on charges of Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Forcible confinement, Utter Threats and Fail to comply with Undertaking.
On May 25, 2021, a 25-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant attended Brandon Police Service to turn himself in. The male was lodged overnight and will appear in court today a charge of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.
Sexual Assault
On April 29, 2021, police received information regarding a sexual assault, which occurred in the spring of 2020 in Brandon. The victim is an 11-year-old female. Investigation led to the arrest of a 42-year old male. He will appear in court on August 16, 2021 on charges of Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference.
Fail to Comply with Probation
On May 26, 2021 shortly after 2:00 am, police responded to a report of an unwanted male outside a residence. Police located the 30-year-old male who was intoxicated in spite of court ordered conditions he is to abide by to abstain from the consumption. Following his arrest, police discovered a knife in his possession, which is also contrary to his conditions. He was lodged due to his intoxication level and will be released to appear I court on July 29, 2021 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Probation.

On May 26, 2021, a 45-year-old male attended Brandon Police Service. He was very intoxicated, and had nowhere to stay. He was lodged until sober.
