Possess False Identity Documents

On January 25, 2022, police responded to a report of an individual who appeared to be passed out in a vehicle in a parking lot in the 900 block of 18th street shortly after 9:00 am.  Police located a 21-year-old female sleeping in the vehicle.  She was arrested, as she was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant for Fail to Comply with Probation X2.

Upon her arrest, police found ID in her possession, which had her photo, but another person’s name and information.  She was later released to appear in court on April 11, 2022 on charges of Fail to Comply with Probation and Possess False Identity Documents.

 

Forcible confinement

On January 26, 2022 shortly before 4:00 am, police responded to a 911 call in which the call takers could hear screaming and crying.  When police arrived at the residence they observed the 22-year-old male suspect dragging the victim back inside.  Police intervened and arrested the male.  Investigation revealed that the suspect had assaulted the victim while holding them against their will.  The victim did not require medical attention

The 22-year-old male was lodged at Brandon Police Service due to his intoxication.  He will be released once sober to appear in court on March 21, 2022 on charges of Assault and Forcible Confinement. 

 

Arrest Warrant

On January 25, 2022, a 35-year-old male attended to Brandon Police Service, as he was aware of an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  He was lodged and appeared in court later that date on charges of Fail to Comply with Release Order and Fail to Attend Court.

On January 25, 2022, police located and arrested a 26-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Assault with a Weapon, Fail to Comply with Undertaking and Uttering threats X2.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and appeared on court later in the day.

 

IPDA

On January 25, 2022, at approximately 2:30 pm, police responded to a report of a male passed out in a cab.  The driver transported the male to Brandon Police Service where officers took custody of him.  The 25-year-old male was in no condition to care for himself.  He was lodged until sober.

 

Fail to Comply with Probation Order

On January 8, 2022, police received a complaint of an individual receiving electronic messages from a 51-year-old male who was to abide by a no contact order.  On January 25, 2022, the suspect was located an arrested.  He was later released and will appear in court on March 31, 2022 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

 

Fail to Comply with Undertaking

On January 26, 2022, shortly after midnight, police conducted a vehicle stop in the 1500 block of Princess Ave.  One of the passengers was known to police to have a conditional curfew.  The 32-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on a charge of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.
