Assault/Breach of Undertaking

 

At 3:30 pm, Police were called to an address on Cornell Bay where there was a report of a disturbance between a male and a female at the residence. Upon Police arrival it was learned that a 25 year old male had assaulted a female and then fled the scene. The suspect was later located by Police at an address in the 800 block of Russell St and was arrested and charged for Domestic Assault and Breaching his Undertaking. The accused was lodged at BPS and held for court in the morning.

 

Domestic Assault

 

At 11:07 pm, Police received a complaint of a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 1200 block of 10th St. Upon arriving on scene Police learned that the 30 year old male had assaulted a female at the residence. The male was arrested and lodged at BPS to appear in court in the morning.

 

Impaired Driving

 

 

At 12:34 am, Police received a 911 Impaired driving complaint about a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed and driving erratically in the 1500 blk of 18th Street. The caller also said the suspect vehicle almost collided with him as it was travelling on the wrong side of the road. It appeared to members when they located the suspect vehicle that it had also been involved in an accident prior. Members made a patrol to the area and found that the suspect vehicle had also hit a light standard and left car parts at 18th Street and Park Avenue. The 45 year old driver was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Over .08. The accused will appear in court at a later date.

Other arrests

Three other individuals were arrested for incidents relating to public intoxication.
