Theft Under $ 5000.00 and Resist Arrest

On October 23rd, 2021, at 202 pm, police responded to a report of a theft of various grocery items from a Brandon business. Upon police arrival the accused tried to flee but was apprehended a short distance away after a brief struggle with officers. Due to the fact that that the 19 year old Brandon woman was high on what was believed to be Meth, she was lodged at BPS cells and later released on an Appearance Notice to appear in Brandon Court at a later date.

On October 23rd , 2021, at 329 pm, police responded to a report of a 39 year old Brandon man who was intoxicated and harassing people as they passed by the 1000 blk of Rosser Avenue. The man was lodged at the BPS cells until sober and subsequently released from custody.

 

Arrest  Warrant  Executed 

On October 23th, 2021 at 1030 pm, police were conducting an unrelated investigation in the 500 blk of Louise Avenue. Police had been dealing with a 25 year old Brandon man who as it turned out had an arrest warrant for Fail to Attend Court. The man was arrested on the strength of that warrant and subsequently released on an Appearance to attend Brandon Court on a later date.

 

Arrest  Warrant  Executed

On October 24th, 2021 at 140 am, police attended to a complaint at a hotel on 18th Street North. Police spoke to a 29 year old Brandon man who was causing trouble for staff at that location. As it turned out this individual also had a warrant for his arrest. The man was arrested on the strength of that warrant and subsequently released on an Appearance to attend Brandon Court on a later date.
