Break & Enter to Business

At 8:14am, police responded to a report of Break & Enter to a business in the 500’ block of 18th Street which occurred sometime overnight.  The suspect left behind beer cans and caused minor damage inside.  This incident is still under investigation.

 

Stolen Vehicle Located

At 9:44am, RCMP in the RM of Whitehead advised they had recovered a Honda Pilot that had been reported stolen to the Brandon Police the day prior.  The vehicle had been burnt and was a total loss.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed

At 12:23pm, police conducted a person check in the 1200’ block of Rosser Ave.  A 37 year old Brandon man was arrested on the strength of a warrant for theft under, fail to attend court, and breach of probation.  Identification work was completed and he was released with a court date of May 19, 2022.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed

At 3:25pm, police conducted a person check in the 300’ block of 6th Street.  A 39 year old Brandon man was arrested on the strength of an RCMP warrant for break & enter x4, resist peace officer, utter threats, theft under, fail to comply with undertaking x2, and fail to comply with probation x2.  He was held in custody for court on March 23, 2022.

 

Theft of Motor Vehicle

On March 21, 2022, at 4:37pm, a CAT skid steer, valued at approximately $7500, was stolen from the 900’ block of Lorne Ave E.  On March 22, at 1:51pm, police recovered the stolen skid steer unoccupied near Richmond Ave and Wankling Blvd.  At 5:20pm, police located the 46 year old male suspect walking in the 1700’ block of Rosser Ave where he was arrested.  A search incidental to his arrested revealed a large knife concealed in his waistband.  He was already bound by a release order with conditions not to possess a knife.  He was held in custody for court on March 23, 2022.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed

At 03:26am, police conducted a traffic stop in the 2600’ block of 26th Street.  A 29 year old female passenger was found to have a warrant for failing to attend court.  She was also found to be in breach of a 10pm to 7am curfew.  She was arrested and held for court in the morning.
