Mischief Under $5000

On November 20, 2022, police received a report of a suspect backing up his vehicle through some hedges, in a yard at a residence in Hazelwood Cres.  The suspect them proceeded to unload garbage into the yard.  Investigation revealed that the 59-year-old male suspect was upset over the homeowners not employing him, so he retaliated.  He was located and arrested on November 21, 2022.  He was later released to appear in court on January 16, 2023 on a charge of Mischief Under $5000.

 

Theft Under $5000

On November 19, 2022, police received a report of the theft of gas from a business in the 300 block of 18th street N, as a suspect drove away from a business without paying.  Security footage from the business assisted police in identifying the 34-year-old male suspect who was located and arrested.  He will appear in court on December 15, 2022 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Fail to Comply with Undertaking

On November 21, 2022, just before midnight police responded to a report of a female screaming outside of a residence in the 700 block of 8th street.  Police located the 18-year-old and arrested her as she was found to be in breach of release conditions to abide by a curfew and not to consume.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will be released once sober to appear in court on January 16, 2023 on charges of Fail to Comply with Undertaking X2.

 

Break and Enter to Residential Shed

On November 22, 2022, shortly after 4:00 am, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a shed in White Swan TC.  Suspects pried the door off over night to gain entry.  Nothing appeared to be stolen. Possession of a Weapon

On November 21, 2022, police conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of 4th street shortly after 5:00 pm.  The driver did not have a valid driver’s license.  Police also noted that he was in possession of several knives and shotgun shells contrary to a prohibition.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service.  He will appear in court today on charges of Possess Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order, and Possession of a Weapon.

 

Arrest Warrants

On November 22, 2022, police located and arrested a 37-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Appear.  She was later released to appear in court in December.

On November 21, 2022, a 32-year-old female attended to Brandon Police Service, as she was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Release Order X3 and Fail to Attend Court.  She was lodged and appeared in court yesterday.
