Search Warrant – Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine Meth Fentanyl

On September 20, 2021 shortly before 5:00 pm, members of BPS Operational Support and Crime Suppression Unit and Organized Crime Unit executed a search warrant on a hotel room in the 1800 block of 18th street N. following an investigation into the occupants.

Investigators seized approximately 14 grams of cocaine, 4 grams of meth and 2.5 grams of fentanyl, $6000 cash, bear mace and a variety of pills.

Police arrested and lodged a 36-year-old male at Brandon Police Service.  He will appear in court today on charges of Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Meth and Fentanyl, Possess Proceeds of Crime, Possess Prohibited Weapon, and Fail to Comply with Release Order.

Police also arrested and lodged 35-year-old female.  She will be released later today to appear in court this fall on charges of Possess Meth.

 

Mischief Under

On September 20, 2021, police responded to a report of a glass break alarm at a business in the 700 block of Rosser Ave. shortly before 11:00 pm.  Police confirmed that the front window had been damaged, but no entry had been made to the business.

Police received a second report of individuals on the roof of another business in the block, throwing objects towards neighbouring buildings. 

Police located and arrested a 17-year-old male who was found to be responsible for the damage to the window.  He was also in possession of bear mace, and a CO2 pistol. 

He was later released to an adult relative and will appear in court on October 26, 2021 on charges of Mischief Under $5000, Possess Prohibited Weapon, and Carry Concealed Weapon.

 

IPDA

On September 20, 2021, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male staggering on the road in the area of 8th street and Rosser Ave shortly after 4:00 pm.  Police located the 37-year-old male who was in no condition to care for himself.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On September 21, 2021, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male in the area of 34th street and Victoria Ave shortly after 3:00 am.  Police located the 25-year-old male who was in no condition to care for himself.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
