Drug Arrest

At 5:20 a.m. today officers conducted a vehicle stop in the 3600 block of Richmond Avenue. As the investigation proceeded the officers located a small amount of meth, cocaine, and fentanyl. One of the occupants was a 41 year old male from rural Manitoba who acknowledged possession of the drugs. He was released to appear in court in May, and faces three counts of possession of the listed drugs.

Other Arrest

  • At 3:05 p.m. Friday, officers attended a residence in the west end for a reported disturbance within the home. There were a number of people in the home that appeared to have been involved in a physical altercation, however nobody was forthcoming with information. A 27 year old male from Brandon was on scene, and on numerous conditions to have no contact or communication with a female who was also present. The male was taken into custody and lodged in BPS cells. He will appear before a Justice this morning, facing eight counts of failure to comply with an undertaking.
  • At 3:10 p.m. Friday, officers observed a 41 year old male from Brandon at a retail business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue that he is currently on court orders to not attend. He was arrested and after being processed at the BPS office, was released to appear in court in April on a charge of failure to comply with an undertaking.
