Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth/Cocaine

On April 21, 2022 at approximately 1:30 am, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of 3rd street.  Investigation into the occupants, with the assistance of police K-9 lead police to the seizure of 13.5 grams of Meth and 3.5 grams of Cocaine. 

The two occupants, an 18-year-old male and a 25-year-old male were arrested and later released to appear in court on May 12, 2022 on charges of Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth and Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine.

 

Attempted Arson

On April 21, 2022, police responded with BFES to a report of a fire alarm at an apartment in the 200 block of 15th street at approximately 1:00 am.  Investigation revealed that an unknown suspect piled textiles on the floor and ignited a fire, which was successfully extinguished.  There were no occupants in the suite at the time of the arrival of emergency personnel, and no known injuries.

Theft Under $5000

On April 21, 2022, police responded to a report of a male going through a yard in the 000 block of 13th street N at approximately 4:00 am.  Police located the male a few block away and arrested him as he was identified as the suspect from the theft of a bicycle, which occurred on April 18, 2022.  The 37-year-old male was later released to appear in court on June 13, 2022 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Fail to Comply with Probation

On April 21, 2022, at approximately 5:00 am, police responded to a report of an unwanted male at a residence.  Investigation revealed that the 31-year-old male was to have no contact with the homeowner and he was arrested.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service due to his intoxication, and will be released once sober to appear in court on June 16, 2022 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Probation.

 

Arrest Warrants

On April 20, 2022, shortly after 6:00 pm, police responded to a report of several individuals screaming and yelling in the hallways of an apartment building in the 200 block of 16th street E.  Police discovered that one of the individuals involved, a 44-year-old female was wanted on outstanding charges of Mischief to Property.  She was arrested and later released to appear in court on a later date.

On April 20, 2022, police located and arrested a 32-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to comply with Release Order X2 and Flight from Police.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

On April 21, 2022, shortly after 1:00 am, police located and arrested a 33-year-old female who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Fail to Attend Court after she was observed consuming alcohol in the 1300 block of Rosser Ave.  He was later released and will appear in court on June 16, 2022.

On April 21, 2022, at approximately 1:00 am, police responded to a report of a truck stuck in a ditch near the 1500 block of 3rd street.  Investigation revealed that one of the individuals associated to the vehicle was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court, Fail to Comply with Probation and Use Credit Card.  The 47-year-old male was arrested and later released to appear in court on June 13, 2022.  The stuck vehicle was of no consequence.
