Theft Under $5000

On December 16, 2021, police responded to a report of theft of merchandise from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Ave.  The female was identified as her image was captured on security footage.  She left the store that day and was not located and arrested until January 19, 2022.  She was later released to appear in court on March 17, 2022 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On January 19, 2022, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of 18th street.  A 40-year-old male passenger in the vehicle was to abide by a 24-hour curfew.  Upon his arrest, he was found to be in possession of a cell phone, contrary to his release conditions.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Fail to Comply with Release Order X2.

 

Arrest Warrants

On January 19, 2022, police located and arrested a 35-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Uttering Threats and Fail to Comply with Release Order X2.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

On January 19, 2022, a 35-year-old male attended to Brandon Police Service, as he was aware he was wanted on outstanding charges.  Following his arrest, he was released to appear in court on March 17, 2022 on charges of Assault and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

 

Breach of Peace

On January 19, 2022, shortly after 1:00 pm, police responded to a report of a female who was causing a disturbance at a business in the 000 block of 9th street.  The 30-year-old female was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober to prevent her behavior from continuing.

On January 19, 2022, at 10:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance in a residence.  The others in the home were unable to prevent the actions of the 43-year-old male from escalating.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On January 19, 2022, shortly before 11:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female causing problem at a business in the 000 block of 10th street.  The 27-year-old was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
