Break & Enter

On February 19, 2022 at approx. 3:45 PM, police received a report of a Break, Enter & Theft to a business in the 1000 blk Lorne Ave. It was reported that it happened sometime over the previous few days. A large TV was stolen.

Breach Release Order

On February 20, 2022 at approx. 12:30 AM, police were called to the 1400 block of 22nd St for a male believed to be going through vehicles. He was carrying a backpack. Police attended the area and located a 17 year old male. He was intoxicated. A record check showed that he was on a release order with conditions to abstain from alcohol. He was arrested for failing to comply with that condition. He will appear in court this morning on a charge of Failing to Comply with a Release Order.

Stolen Vehicle & Weapon Offences

On February 20, 2022 at approx. 1:15 AM, Police checked a vehicle in a parking lot at 34th St and Victoria Ave. A record check showed that vehicle had been stolen out of Winnipeg. A 35 year old male was sitting in the driver’s seat and a male and female were just returning to the truck. All three were arrested. A shotgun was located in the vehicle. Investigation revealed the male and female were not involved. The driver was held and will appear in court this morning on numerous weapon charges and possession of the stolen vehicle.

 

 

Other Arrests

On February 19, 2022 at approx. 5:45 PM, business in the 1500 blk 18th St reported there was a male lying on the floor of their bathrooms. Police attended and located the 51 year old male. He was intoxicated and had no one to turn him over to. He was arrested, cleared medically and lodged to be released when sober.

On February 19, 2022 at approx. 5:45 PM, police received a call of a disturbance on Alaska Bay. Members attended and spoke to the individuals involved. The 25 year old male was intoxicated and uncooperative. He was arrested, cleared medically and lodged to be released when sober to prevent an escalation.

On February 19, 2022 at approx. 9:00 PM, police and ambulance were called to the 200 block of College Ave for a male that had fallen and was not getting up. Police attended and located a 55 year old male, who was intoxicated. He was arrested, cleared medically and lodged to be released when sober.

On February 19, 2022 at approx. 9:30 PM, police received a report that a female was at a residence in the 1200 blk 10th St. She was trying to fight everyone. Police attended and located the 34 year old female, who was intoxicated. She was arrested, cleared medically and lodged to be released when sober to prevent further problems.

On February 20, 2022 at approx. 3:30 AM, police received a report of a disturbance at a business in the 3100 blk Victoria Ave. Police attended and located several family members arguing. Some were intoxicated. A 27 year old female appear to be the main problem. She was arrested, cleared medically and lodged to be released when sober to prevent further problems.
