Arrest Warrant Executed
Members attended the Brandon Correctional Centre on behalf of the Winnipeg Police Service to execute an arrest warrant they held for 23 year old male that was in custody. He will appear before the courts on a charge of possession of property obtained by crime.
Domestic Assault
At 1530 hrs, members attended to a residence in the 1600 block of Victoria Ave to check on the well being of a female who had disclosed she had been assaulted by her partner. The female victim had visible signs of injury consistent with being assaulted. A 30 year old male was arrested on scene and held in custody to be released once sober to appear before the courts in November. .
At 2020 hrs, a 20 year old male attended to the Brandon Police Service station to turn himself in on an outstanding arrest warrant. He was released to appear in court in November.
Breach of Release Order
At 0400 hrs, members were on patrol in the 300 block of McTavish Ave when a 47 year old male was observed riding a bicycle on the sidewalk. He was recognized by the member and known to be bound by a release order stating to obey a curfew. As he was in breach of the order, he was arrested and held in custody to appear before the courts.
