Break and Enter – Attempt Theft of ATM

On April 19, 2022, police responded to a report of a Break and Enter to a business in the 2000 block of Marshall Lane shortly after 3:00 am. 

Investigation revealed that suspects backed a white Ford Escape through the front glass doors of the business.  One suspect threw a towrope around an ATM located at the front of the business before attempting to drive away with it.  The attempt was unsuccessful, but the ATM was damaged. 

The suspect vehicle was last observed driving Westbound on Grand Valley Road.  The vehicle licence plate is unknown.  Anyone with information regarding this Break and Enter and Attempted Theft is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact.

 

Stolen Vehicle

On April 18, 2022, police responded to a report of the theft of a Grey 2020 Toyota Rav 4 from the 300 block of 13th street overnight.  The vehicle licence is Manitoba KLT 555.  Anyone with information regarding this Vehicle Theft is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact.

 

Possess Stolen Property

On April 18, 2022, police responded to a report of a bike theft from Sycamore Drive sometime overnight. 

Investigation led police to discover the location of the bike later that day, through security footage in the 700 block of 10th street, as a suspect was observed on the stolen bicycle. 

Police located arrested the 49-year-old male suspect and recovered the stolen bike.  He was later released to appear in court on June 13, 2022 on a charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

 

Breach of Peace

On April 19, 2022, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male at an apartment building who was harassing other tenants, and trying to fight them.  The 54-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober to prevent his actions from escalating further.

 

Arrest Warrants

On April 18, 2022, police located and arrested a 37-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Theft Under $5000 and Fail to Attend Court.  She was later released to appear in court on June 13, 2022.

On April 18, 2022, police located and arrested a 20-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Break and Enter X2, Fail to Comply with Probation, Fail to Comply with Undertaking, and Fail to comply with Release Order.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.
