Assault with a Weapon

At 5:59am, police responded to a bear spray incident in the 900’ block of Maryland Ave.  Two suspects had fled prior to police arrival; however, at 6:20am police located the suspects in the 700’ block of 10th Street.  They were still in possession of bear spray and a knife.  A 17 year old male was arrested for assault with a weapon as well as two outstanding warrants of arrest.  He was held in custody for court.  A 16 year old male was also arrested for possession of a weapon and released for court on July 12th, 2022.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed

At 1:30pm, a 24 year old man attended to the police station and turned himself in on two outstanding warrants from the RCMP for failing to appear and Highway Traffic Act charges.  He was released on a court date of July 26th, 2022, in Minnedosa, MB. 

 

Theft Under $5000 and Mischief to Property

At 6:47pm, police arrested a 29 year old man who had stolen plants from a business in the 1600’ block of 18th Street.  The man had also damaged a fence to the garden area of the store.  The man was held in custody due to his level of intoxication.  He was later released with a court date of July 11 to deal with the charges.

 

Theft Under $5000 and Warrant Executed

At 10:19pm, police responded to a theft complaint at a business in the 900’ block of Victoria Ave.  Police located the 35 year old male suspect in the area and he was arrested.  He was also found to have an outstanding warrant of arrest which was executed at that time.  He was held for court in the morning.

 

Break and Enter (Business)

At 1:47am, police responded to a break and enter to a business in the 100’ block of 7th Street.  Entry had been forced into the property; however, police are still investigating what may have been stolen.
