Break and Enter to Business

In February 14, 2022, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a business in the 700 block of Rosser Ave.  Shortly before 11:00 pm, the owner alerted police to an alarm that was set off between 7:00 pm and 10:50 pm.  Suspects forced their way in through one business, and were then able to gain access to a second business.  While inside, suspects moved a laptop.

Assault

On February 15, 2022, shortly before 2:00 am, police responded to a report of an assault in the area of 15th Street and College Ave.  An intoxicated 17-year-old female youth had taken a taxi to the area.  An intoxicated 22-year-old male approached the taxi and assaulted the driver causing minor injuries.  Both the male and the female were arrested.  The male suspect was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will be released once sober to appear in court on April 19, 2022 on charges of Assault and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.  The female was also lodged and will be released once sober with a fine under the LGCCA of Consumption of Liquor by a Minor.

 

Arrest Warrants

On February 14, 2022, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence shortly after 11:00 pm.  Police learned the individual causing the issues was wanted on outstanding charges.  The 30-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today on charges of Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Operate Conveyance While Impaired, and Resist Peace Officer.

On February 14, 2022, police located and arrested a 44-year-old male wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation.  He was later released and will appear in court on April 14, 2022.
