Break and Enter

 A 31 year old male was charged for Break and Enter as a result of an investigation from March 24th, 2021. The incident occurred in the 200 block of 1st St. The suspect appeared in court in the morning on this charge.

 

Armed Robbery

At approximately 3:30 pm, 2 suspects stole items from a business in the 1400 block of 1st St while armed with bear spray. The vehicle they fled in was later located in the 1000 block of Victoria Ave and contained some of the stolen items. After further investigation, all stolen items were recovered and returned to the business. A 36 year old female and a 25 year old female were charged with Armed Robbery, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and appeared in court in the morning.

 

Assault with a Weapon

At 9:20 pm Police attended to a residence in the 800 block of 2nd St for a disturbance. Upon attending Police located a 24 year old male who had assaulted a female by assaulting a female with a knife causing minor injury. The suspect then went outside the residence and assaulted a male and damaged a vehicle. The suspect was charged with Assault, Assault with a Weapon, and Mischief under $5,000 and was released for a later court date.

In a separate incident in the area of 18th St and Kirkaldy Ave, a 23 year old female threw a large rock at another female who was known to her. The female was not seriously injured as a result of this. The suspect was arrested and released for a later court date.

 

Other arrests

A 36 year old male was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Failing to Comply with Probation order and was released for a later court date. A 60 year old female was arrested for breach of the peace for causing a disturbance  in the 100 block of 2nd St.
