Impaired Driving

At 2:55 pm, Police received several 911 calls reporting an erratic driver in a Pontiac Grand Am. This vehicle was found to have been involved in an accident in the 1900 block of Richmond Ave. The suspect vehicle was located in the 2500 block of Park Ave and the driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested. The 23 year old male was charged with Dangerous Driving and Impaired Driving released for court at a later date.

At 3:50 am, a traffic stop was done in the 1200 block of Princess Ave and the 26 year old male was showing signs of impairment. He was arrested and was charged with Impaired Driving and Driving Over .08. He was released for court at a later date.

 

Attempted Robbery with a Firearm

At 12:50 am, Police were in the 1000 block of 18th St when they had a person report that a male had a gun in his possession. The male was located and had a replica Pellet pistol in his possession. The complainant stated that the suspect had attempted to rob him by threatening him with the pistol. The 18 year old male was arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery with a Firearm and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. He was released for a later court date.

 

Breach of Release Order

At 9:10 pm, a traffic stop was conducted in the 3500 block Of Victoria Ave where a 29 year old male was found trying to conceal himself under a pile of clothing in the back seat. He was found to be on conditions of a curfew and not to attend the city of Brandon. He was arrested and held for court in the morning.
