Media Release for the last 24 hours: 

 

Break and Enter

At 1000 hours, the owner of a business in the 1600 block of Rosser ave arrived to work to find that their business had been broken into. After a look around it was determined that some electronics and various tools had been stolen.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed 

At approximately 1145 hrs, police located a 35 year old male subject whom was evading an outstanding arrest warrant. He was arrested and held in custody to appear before the courts.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed 

At approximately 1230 hours, members attended to a residence on Cornwallis Cres in hopes of locating a 25 year old male whom was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant. The male subject was located and released from custody to appear in court in November.

 

Domestic Assault 

At approximately 1300 hours, police received a report from a female that she had been assaulted by her 30 year old male partner. The male subject was unable to be located as he had left prior to police arrival. An arrest warrant was issued for the suspect.

 

Breach of Release Order

At approximately 1500 hrs, police were called to the Brandon Shoppers Mall as security had a 23 year old male in custody that was previously banned from the premise. Police attended and learned that he was breaching a condition on his release order. He was released from police custody to appear before the courts in November.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed

At approximately 1515 hours, a 31 year old female attended to the Brandon Police Service Station to turn herself in on an outstanding arrest warrant that she had been evading from the RCMP. She was released from police custody to appear before the courts in November in Minnedosa.

 

Structure Fire

At 1745 hours, members were dispatched to a structure fire in the 600 block of 18th street. The residence was determined to be abandoned and no persons sustained any injuries. Investigation as to the cause of the fire is ongoing.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed 

At approximately 2230 hours, members attended to a residence on Cypress Blvd in hopes of locating a 15 year old male subject whom was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant. Once arrested on the strength of the warrant, he was also charged with and unrelated assault on behalf of the RCMP. The male youth was released from custody to appear before the courts in November.
