Break and Enter

At approx. 1230 Saturday afternoon, police received a report of a break and enter to a shed in the 500 block of 22nd St.  The complainant went to retrieve a moped and some other items from his shed and found it had been entered and items were missing. It is unknown exactly when the incident occurred.  The matter is still under investigation.

Assault Peace Officer

At approx. 4:50 PM on Saturday, officers were called to an address in the 500 block of Louise Ave for an intoxicated female that was engaged in self harm.  Upon arrival the officers located the 16 year old female who was armed with a knife.  She appeared to be under the influence of a drug and alcohol. The officers attempted to control the youth and a struggle ensued during which she bit one of the officers on the leg. She was taken to BRHC for clearance and then held until sober.  She has since been released with a future court date charged with assaulting a peace officer.

Break, Enter and Theft

At 9:35 PM Saturday, officers were investigating a mischief occurrence in the 100 block of 17th St. when they discovered a break and enter to a construction site in the 100 block of 18th St.  On 17th St, an unknown suspect used a fire extinguisher to break and window and then dispensed the contents into a residence.  Officers searched the area for a suspect and located a break and enter to the construction site.  It has been determined the fire extinguisher came from the break and enter.  Both incidents are still under investigation.

Other Arrests:

  • 2 males were arrested and held until sober from separate incidents, one for breach of the peace the second under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act
