Possession of Meth / Loaded Firearm
At approx. 9:30 PM Saturday, police conducted a traffic stop on Middleton Ave. During the stop, officers located approx. 16 grams of Meth as well as a loaded sawed off .22 caliber firearm within the vehicle. A 43-year-old female of Sandilands MB and a 26-year-old female from Richer MB were arrested and later released with a court date of September 9. Both suspects are charged with possession of meth, unauthorized possession of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, possession a prohibited weapon, possession of a prohibited weapon with ammunition
Breach of Release Order / Conditional Sentence Order
At approx. 11:35 PM Saturday, officers checked a male in the 700 block of 10th St. Initially he provided a false name, however he was known to the officers and is currently bound by a release order and a conditional sentence order with curfew conditions. The 31-year-old Brandon man was arrested and held for court later today.
Breach of Undertaking
At approx. 5:35 AM today, officers checked two males at the east end of Rosser Ave East. One of the males was found to be the subject of a curfew, as well as a condition that he not communicate with the other male. He was arrested for breaching the conditions of his Undertaking. The 23-year-old Brandon male was released with a court date of September 7.
