Warrant Executed

On August 12, 2022 at approximately 12:08 pm, police conducted a pedestrian check on a male subject, a 47-year- old man from Brandon. A computer check showed he had an unendorsed warrant. The man was lodged at the Brandon Police Service for remand in the morning.  

 

Warrant Executed

On August 12, 2022, at 11:19 am, police conducted a pedestrian check in the 100 block of 6th Street. Initially the man fled from Police, but was apprehended a short distance away. The 36-year-old man from Brandon was found to have an unendorsed warrant, and as a result, he was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service for remand in the morning.

 

Warrant Executed

On August 12, 2022 shortly after 1:26 pm, police noted a 50-year-old man walking along the 1300 block of Lorne Avenue.  This man was known to the police officer and a computer check confirmed that he had a warrant for his arrest. The man was subsequently arrested and released on an Appearance Notice for a Court date of October 6, 2022.

 

Warrant Executed

On August 12, 2022, shortly before 3:49 pm, a 17 year old youth was checked by police in Princess Park and found to have an endorsed warrant. The youth was arrested and subsequently released on an Appearance Notice to appear in Brandon Court on October 4, 2022.

 

Warrant Executed

On August 12, 2022, at 4:08 pm, police located and arrested a 24-year-old woman from Brandon in the area of Princess Park as a result of a computer check, which showed an unendorsed warrant for this subject. The accused was arrested on the strength of that warrant and lodged at the Brandon Police Service for court in the morning.

 

Warrant Executed 

On August 12, 2022, at 5:28 pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of 28th Street North. A computer check showed the 38-year-old Brandon woman had an endorsed warrant and as a result was arrested and subsequently released on an Appearance Notice to appear in Brandon Provincial Court.

 

Breach of Court Order

On August 12, 2022, at 8:03 pm, members of the Brandon Police Service attended to a residence in Brandon on an unrelated complaint. While there, a 37-year-old Brandon man also attended to the residence and began to throw stones off of a balcony at police and then fled the area. The Brandon Police Service K9 Unit attended to the scene and located this man. As a result of this incident, he was charged with breaching his Undertaking and will be released on an Appearance Notice in the morning when sober.

 

Breach of Peace 

On August 12, 2022, at 11:23 pm, Police attended to a residence in the south end of Brandon on a complaint that an intoxicated 45-year-old man from Brandon was causing trouble in the residence. Upon arrival, the man continued to cause trouble for other residents and as a result he was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Warrant Executed

On August 13, 2022 at 2:45 am, Brandon Police Service received a call from Thompson RCMP indicating they had a 26-year-old man in custody at their point on the strength of a Brandon Police Service warrant. As this was an unendorsed warrant, the man was held in custody overnight and will be appearing in Court in Thompson in the morning.
