Assault

On August 11, 2022 at approximately 7:00 pm, police responded to multiple witness reports of an assault in the 900 block of 18th street N.  Investigation revealed that a 38-year-old male from Winnipeg, was assaulting an adult female inside a parked vehicle.  The victim did not require any medical attention.  The suspect was arrested and later released to appear in court on October 10, 2022 on a charge of Assault. 

 

Assault

On August 11, 2022, police responded to a report of an assault in a residence at approximately 4:30 pm.  Investigation revealed that during an argument, the 43-year-old male suspect assaulted an adult female following an argument.  The female was not injured.  He was arrested at the residence and later released to appear in court on October 3, 2022 on a charge of Assault.

 

IPDA

On August 11, 2022 shortly after 6:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male, who was screaming in the 800 block of 10th street.  Police located the 24-year-old male who was in no condition to care for himself, and he had nowhere to go.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Breach of the Peace

On August 12, 2022, shortly before 2:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at a residence at a residence by fighting with others and breaking things.  His family were unable to prevent his actions from escalating further.  The 18-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Arrest Warrant

On August 11, 2022, police located and arrested a 20-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation and Assault.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

On August 11, 2022, a 30-year-old male attended to Brandon Police Service, as he was aware of outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court.  Following his arrest, he was released to appear in court on September 8, 2022.
