Resist Arrest

On February 10, 2022, at approxmately 1:30 pm, BPS employees found two males fighting in the parking lot of Brandon Police Service.  Police attempted to arrest one of the males who resisted. 

The 31-year-old male was found to be intoxicated contrary to a release condition.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will be released once sober to appear in court on a later date on charges of Resist Arrest and Fail to Comply with Probation. 

It’s not clear why the two males were fighting in front of Brandon Police Service.

 

Arrest Warrants

On February 10, 2022, a 25-year-old male attended Brandon Police Service, as he was aware of an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  He was later released and will appear in court on March 10, 2022 on charges of Fail to Attend and Mischief Under $5000.

On February 10, 2022, police located and arrested a 16-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Release Order.  He was later released and will appear in court on a later date.

On February 10, 2022, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence shortly before 1:00 pm.  The 18-year-old female who was causing the problems was found to be wanted on outstanding charges.  She was arrested and later released to appear in court on April 7, 2022 on a charge of Fail to Appear.

On February 10, 2022, police located and arrested a 26-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Release Order, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, and CDSA Possess for the Purpose x4.  She was later released and will appear in court on March 10, 2022.

On February 10, 2022 shortly before 3:00 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence.  The 45-year-old male causing the disturbance was found to be wanted on outstanding charges.  He was arrested and later released to appear in court on a later date on charges of Fail to comply with Probation.
