Stolen Vehicle Recovered – Suspects Arrested

On August 11, 2021 shortly after 2:00 am, police located a vehicle, which was stolen out of Winnipeg.  It was stopped in the 1100 block of Richmond Ave and the four occupants were arrested.  Police also located bear mace inside the vehicle. 

The four suspects were lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear today in court on charges of Possess Property Obtained by Crime, and Possess Prohibited Weapon.  They include a 22-year-old female, a 22-year-old male, a 31-year-old male, and a 28-year-old female, each from the Brandon and Westman area.

 

IPDA

On August 10, 2021, shortly before 11:00 am, police responded to a report of a male staggering across 18th street N in the 1500 block.  Police located the 27-year-old male who was too intoxicated to care for himself.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On August 10, 2021, police responded to a report of a male passed out on the boulevard in the 900 Victoria Ave shortly before 7:00 pm.  Police located the 54-year-old male who was in no condition to care for himself.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Breach of Peace

On August 11, 2021, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence shortly after 11:00 pm.  Police learned that two adult siblings were fighting.  A 21-year-old male was found to be the main cause of the disturbance and was lodged due to his intoxication level and to prevent the continuation of the situation.

On August 11, 2021, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence shortly before 9:00 pm.  A 46-year-old female was found to be the cause of the problems, and had worn out her welcome in the home.  She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police

Service due to the level of her intoxication to prevent her behavior from escalating.

 

Fail to Comply with Probation

On August 9, 2021 police received information that a 31-year-old male was failing to abide by a court condition no to communicate with another individual.  The male was located and arrested on August 10, 2021.  He was later released to appear in court on October 24, 2021.

 

Arrest Warrants

On August 10, 2021, shortly before 11:00 am, police located and arrested a 52-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court.  She was later released to appear in court on November 1, 2021.

On August 10, 2021, police located and arrested a 25-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court, Fail to Comply with Undertaking, and Possess Controlled Substance.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.
