Arrest Warrant Executed

On March 8, 2022, a 19 year old male turned himself in to Brandon Police as he was aware of a warrant for his arrest held by BPS for Failing to Comply with his Probation and Failing to Attend Court.  The accused was released from custody on an Appearance Notice for a court date of May 17, 2022.

 

 Arrest Warrant Executed

On March 8, 2022 police located a 32 year old female at a residence in the 2200 block of Pacific Avenue.  A check of Police records showed the female to have a warrant held by BPS for Failing to Comply by Release Order X3.  The accused has been released on an Appearance Notice for a court date of May 2, 2022.

 

Fail to Comply with Undertaking

On March 8, 2022, Police responded to the 1000 block of Lorne Avenue for a report of a fight.  One of the subjects involved was found to be highly intoxicated and bound by a Release Order to not consume alcohol.  The 19 year old male has been held in custody to appear in court March 9, 2022.

 

Possession of Prohibited Weapon

On March 8, 2022 Police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the 3400 block of Victoria Avenue.  The operator of the vehicle was found to be in possession of 6.82 grams of crystal meth, ammunition, a collapsible baton and a stun gun.  The accused is currently bound by a Release Order with conditions to not possess any weapons.  A 24 year old male has been held in custody to appear March 9, 2022, for the charges of PPT Meth, CDSA PPT Cocaine, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Possession of a Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition, and FTC with Release Order x 3

 

Arrest Warrant Executed

On March 8, 2022, Police conducted a pedestrian stop with a male in the 1400 block of Rosser Avenue.  A check of Police records showed the male to have an outstanding warrant held by BPS for Fail to Attend Court.  In addition, the same male was identified as being responsible for a theft from February 26, 2022.  The 34 year old male has been held in custody to appear in court March 9, 2022.

 

Breach of Peace

On March 9, 2022, Police were called to an address on Violet Crescent for a report of an intoxicated 22 year old male causing a disturbance.  Police subsequently turned the male over to the responsibility of a sober family member.  A short time after the same male was located walking in the middle of the road near the same address that he was removed from.  Due to the males persistence, he was lodged until sober to prevent further problems.
