Breach of Peace

At 7:05am, police were called to a disturbance in the 800’ block of Frederick Street.  A 42 year old man was arrested for breaching the peace.  He was lodged at BPS to be released once sober.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed

At 1:28pm, police observed a 44 year old man in the 600’ block of 8th Street who was known to have a warrant for failing to attend court.  He was arrested without incident and lodged at BPS for court the following morning.

 

Theft Under $5000 (Shoplifting)

At 1:50pm, police were called to a business in the 1500’ block of 18th Street for a 28 year old man who had stolen several pairs of shoes.  He was arrested without incident and later released for court on August 4, 2022.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed

At 6:55pm, police arrested a 35 year old man in the 800’ block of Rosser Ave as he was wanted for theft under $5000.  He was released for court on August 4, 2022.

 

Assault

At 6:56pm, police were called to the summer fair grounds as a 23 year old female had assaulted a 38 year old female by punching her in the stomach.  She was arrested and lodged at BPS.  She will be released once sober with a court date of August 9, 2022.

 

Breach of the Peace

At 7:52pm, police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 400’ block of 4th Street.  A 36 year old man was found to be the problem and was arrested.  He was later released without charges.

 

Resist Arrest

At 8:17pm, police observed a 34 year old man riding a bike in the 800’ block of Princess Ave.  When the man noticed police he dropped the bike and fled on foot.  He was apprehended a short distance away where he resisted attempts by the officer to arrest him.  The bike was recovered and the man was later released for court on July 28, 2022.

 

Possess Weapon

At 8:25pm, police were called to a residence in the 500’ block of Louise Ave as the tenant believed someone was trying to break in.  A 27 year old man was located in the area and found to be in possession of bear spray.  He was also found to be in breach of an undertaking.  He was lodged at BPS for court in the morning.

 

**Update to ATM theft from June 6th (Monday)**

Both suspects involved in the ATM theft from June 6 were arrested at BCC and additional charges were laid for a previous incident in which they attempted to steal the ATM from a business on the north hill on April 19.  As they remain in custody, they will appear June 9, 2022, in court for the additional charges.

 

Arson with Disregard for Life

At 2:14am, police were called to BRHC as a suspect had attempted to light a fire in a bathroom.  The suspect fled the area but was located in the 700’ block of 10th Street by police.  The 46 year old man was arrested and lodged at BPS for court in the morning.
