Arrest Warrant Executed

At approx. 1:30 PM Friday officers were called to an address in the 400 block of 7th St. for a dispute.  Upon arrival it was determined to be a verbal argument only, however one of the parties involved was wanted on an outstanding warrant of arrest or failing to attend court.  The 19 year old Brandon male was arrested on the strength of the warrant and has since been released with a court date of March 3.

 

Refuse Breath Demand

At approx. 9:15 Friday evening police conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of 11th St.  The 29 year old female driver was found to be suspended from driving.  During interaction with the driver officers detected signs of impairment and a breath demand was made.  The driver failed to provide a sample for analysis of her breath and was arrested for that offense.  She has since been released with a court date of January 17, charged with refuse approved screening device, as well as drive suspended and driving an unregistered vehicle.   

 

Arrest Warrant Executed

At approx. 10:15 PM Friday, officers were called to a residence in the 900 block of Rosser Ave for a disturbance. When members attended the situation had calmed, however a male involved was found to be the subject of an outstanding warrant of arrest for impaired driving.  The 23 year old male was arrested and was held due to intoxication.  He will be released later this morning with a court date of March 3.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed

At approx. 12:15 AM today, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 3900 block of Victoria Ave.   Two of the occupants of the vehicle were found to have outstanding warrants of arrest. The first male, 23 years of age of Nelson House MB, was wanted for assault and was also the subject of a daily curfew.  He was arrested for those offenses and has since released with a court date of March 1 in Gillam MB. The second male, 21 years of age from Brandon, was wanted for failing to comply with a release order.  He was also arrested, and has been released with a court date of March 3, in Brandon.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

At approx. 3:05 AM today, officers conducted a vehicle stop with a taxi cab in the 300 block of 3rd St.  One of the passengers in the cab is currently bound by a daily curfew which he was not abiding by.  The 49 year old Brandon man was arrested for failing to comply with his release order.  He has since been released from custody and will appear in court on March 3.
