Parole Revocation Warrant

At approx. 11:00 AM on Tuesday April 7th, officers were made aware that the Parole Board had issued a warrant to apprehend a local male, as he had breached conditions of his Parole.  Officers located and arrested the 30-year-old male at a residence in the 100 block of 11th St.  The accused was turned over to Sheriff’s officers for transport to Stony Mountain Penitentiary.

 

Assault with a Weapon

At 1:55 PM Tuesday afternoon, a male reported that he had just been assaulted by another male while in the 100 block of 10th St.  The victim stated the suspect struck him in the arm with a flail, causing minor injuries to the victim.  The 41 year old suspect is known to both police and the victim.   Officers located the accused at his residence and arrested him for assault with a weapon.  He was later released on the court date of June 29th.

 

Break and Enter

 On Tuesday afternoon Police received a report of a break and enter to a residence on Aster Cres.  The incident occurred sometime since March 30th where 2 televisions an Xbox and assorted other items were stolen.  The mater is still under investigation.

 

Break and Enter

At 3:40PM Tuesday, officers were called to a business in the 1800 block of 1st St for a break and enter. The suspects entered through a window and once inside stole a laptop computer.  The incident is still under investigation.

 

Break and Enter / Stabbing

At 4:11 AM today, officers were called to a residence in the 300 block of 6th St for a stabbing.  Upon arrival, members located a male with a single stab wound to his leg.  Early information has indicated that a tenant possibly stabbed the victim after he broke into the tenant’s apartment.  The matter is still under investigation and no charges have been laid as of yet.      

 

Other Arrests:

               - 1 Female was arrested and lodged under the Intoxicated.
