Refusal ASD

On September 6, 2021, police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Rosser Ave E at approximately 9:00 pm.  The driver showed signs that she had been consuming alcohol; however, she refused to provide a sample of her breath on the ASD.  Police also confirmed that she was the subject of Federal Parole, which was suspended.  The 40-year-old female was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

 

Fail to Comply with Probation

On September 6, 2021, police observed a 35-year-old female in the company of an individual with whom she was to have no communication, while at a business in the 700 block of 10th street shortly after 12:00 pm.  She was arrested and later released to appear in court on November 22, 2021.

 

Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth

On September 6, 2021, at approximately 1:00 am, police responded to a report of a disturbance near the area of the 800 block of Rosser Ave.  Police located and arrested the three individuals involved in the fight. Two of them were found in possession of meth. 

A 27-year-old male was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will be released once sober to appear in court on November 18, 2021 on a charge of Possession of Meth.  A 35-year-old male was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Possession of Meth for the Purpose of Trafficking and Fail to comply with Release Order X2. 

A 20-year-old male was also arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service under the IPDA, as he was found to be in no condition to care for himself due to his intoxication level.

 

IPDA

On September 7, 2021 at 12:30 am, police responded to a report of a 34-year-old female in the 1200 block of Victoria Ave who was intoxicated with nowhere to stay.  She was in no condition to care for herself, so she was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On September 7, 2021 shortly after 3:00 am, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male in the 800 block of Rosser Ave.  He had nowhere to stay and was in no condition to care for himself.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
