Break and Enter to Apartment Building

On October 6, 2021, police received a complaint of a break and enter to the secure area of an apartment building in the 2100 block of Ottawa Ave.  Suspects entered the laundry room of the building and caused damage to the coin slots of the machines.  Anyone with information regarding this B&E is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact.

 

Assault

On October 6, 2021, police responded to a fight in the 900 block of Pacific Ave shortly after 3:00 pm.  Both the 21-year-old female and the 52-year-old male involved were arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service due to their intoxication.  The female will be released when sober to appear in court on December 13, 2021 on charges of Assault and Fail to comply with Undertaking.  The male will be released when sober to appear in court on December 13, 2021 on a charge of Assault.

 

Assault

On October 6, 2021, police responded to a report of a fight in a residence shortly after 9:00 pm.  Both the 58-year-old female and 61-year-old male were arrested.  They each suffered minor injuries.  The male was lodged at Brandon Police service due to his intoxication.  He will be released when sober to appear in court on November 18, 2021 on a charge of Assault.  The female was later released and will appear in court on November 4, 2021 on a charge of Assault.

 

Breach of Peace

On October 6, 2021, shortly before 10:00 pm, a taxi driver attended to Brandon Police Service because an intoxicated female was causing a disturbance by acting out in his car making it unsafe for him to drive.  Police arrested the 32-year-old female and lodged her at Brandon Police service until sober.

 

Breach of Peace

On October 6, 2021, at 11:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male, whose behavior was causing concern for others who were unable to prevent him from escalating.  He was staying in a local hotel, were he was arrested.  The 37-year-old male was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Fail to Comply with Undertaking

On October 7, 2021 shortly after midnight, police responded to a report of an unwanted male banging on a residential door.  Police learned that the 37-year-old male was to abide by a condition not to attend the residence.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service due to his intoxication.  He will be released once sober to appear in court on December 16, 2021 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

 

Arrest Warrant

On October 6, 2021, police located and arrested a 24-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court.  He was later released to appear in court on December 13, 2021.
