Breach of Peace

On January 6, 2022, police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual who set off an alarm at an apartment building in the 1200 block of Rosser Ave at 2:00 pm.  The 29-year-old female was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On January 6, 2022, police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual who was causing a disturbance at a business in the 1900 block of Queens Ave.  The 29-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent his behavior from continuing.

 

Break and Enter to Trailer

On January 6, 2022, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a travel trailer parked in the 500 block of Park St.  Suspect forced their way in by prying the door between January 4 and 5, 2022.  It is unknown if anything was stolen.  Anyone with information regarding this B&E is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact.

 

Driving Prohibited

On January 6, 2022, police conducted a vehicle stop in the 1800 block of Middleton Ave.  Investigation revealed the driver was prohibited.  The 35-year-old driver was arrested and later released to appear in court on March 3, 2022 on a charge of Operation of Conveyance While Prohibited.

 

IPDA

On January 6, 2022, shortly after 9:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual on a residential property in the 3500 block of Willowdale Cres.  The 40-year-old male was in no condition to care for himself and had nowhere to go as he was from a rural community.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On January 6, 2022, shortly after 8:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female in the 800 block of Pacific Ave.  The21-year-old female was in no condition to care for herself and had nowhere to stay. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Arrest Warrants

On January 6, 2022, police located and arrested a 22-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Assault PO X3 and Fail to Attend Court.  He was later released to appear in court on March 3, 2022.

On January 7, 2022, policed located and arrested a 40-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Public Mischief, Fail to comply with Probation and Fail to Attend Court.  He was later released to appear in court in March, 2022.
